Job Title: Electronics Installation Technician

The successful applicant will work with our team to ensure the efficient operation and management of installing, maintaining, and repairing security equipment and systems.

  • Install electronic instruments and control systems
  • Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults
  • Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring
  • Calibrate and modify equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements
  • Advise management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus
  • Communicate with customers to provide information and advice

Key skills include:

  • Knowledge of integrated security/access systems
  • Familiarity with a range of IP CCTV systems and IP Networks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Logically and technically minded, with excellent problem-solving and analysis skills

This role requires an AQF Certificate III with at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV, or higher qualification in a relevant field. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role is also required. Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency or proper working rights are essential.

As a skilled Electronics Installation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of security equipment and systems. With strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic instruments and control systems.
