Are you a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental specialist with a strong focus on compliance? Join Titan Recruitment, a leading Engineering and Technology recruitment and contracting specialist, where you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' lithium operations adhere to all environmental laws and regulations, implementing sustainable practices, and mitigating environmental risks.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate for this role, you will meet the following criteria:
• Ensure our clients comply with all relevant environmental regulations and standards (local, state, and federal) specific to lithium extraction and processing.
• Monitor changes in environmental legislation and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Respond to environmental emergencies and incidents, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Maintain and update environmental emergency response plans.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as regulatory affairs, chemistry, biology, or engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the environmental industry.
• Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO is a plus).
• Delivering approvals EPBC, EP Act part IV&V, Mining act and international regulations.
