The Position

We are seeking a skilled Land Access and Approvals Advisor to join our team in Perth, supporting the development of large-scale renewable energy and power transmission projects in the Pilbara.

As a key member of our Power and Development team, you will assess strategies and feasibility for land access options, provide guidance on land access, tenure, planning, and environmental approval requirements, and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective land access strategies to support project delivery;
  • Managing land tenure applications and negotiating land access agreements with key stakeholders;
  • Providing expert advice on environmental approval requirements and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards;
  • Supporting the team during project ideation, pre-feasibility, and feasibility study phases;
  • Developing power infrastructure projects by managing aspects of the land access and approvals workstream.

About You

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as environmental science, law, or project management;
  • Significant experience in project development or project management, particularly in infrastructure projects;
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and negotiate with stakeholders;
  • Experience in a similar role in energy, mining, or infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of regulatory and governance requirements;
  • The ability and willingness to travel to the Pilbara, including remote areas.
