- Supervise students during their clinical placements and provide guidance and support as they gain hands-on experience.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of clinical educators to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Assess students' entry-level competencies and clinical skills, providing valuable feedback to help them identify areas for improvement.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- PhD or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in delivering effective education and supervision of students.
- Demonstrated ability to teach health information management skills in face-to-face, blended, and online modes.
- High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of health systems in Victoria and the contribution of health information management to broader health and wellbeing.
- Able to influence the teaching practice of others.
