Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Western Australian transformer workshop. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the management of our workshop team, providing service, repair, and testing of electrical transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevate compliance to OH&S requirements in workshop and office areas.
  • Direct the workshop team to deliver high-quality services, including planned task assignment and schedule enforcement.
  • Present workshop activity and service/repair works to factory and management staff.
  • Attend customer meetings to provide feedback on service/repair and promote our transformers.
  • Pursue scheduled delivery targets through effective planning.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective deliverables from the workshop.
  • Implement quality system and process control measures in the workshop.
  • Analyze workshop activities and processes to minimize non-conformance defects.

Requirements:

  • Hold a trade qualification.
  • Possess experience in production and manufacturing supervision.
  • Have formal OH&S training and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Be skilled in quality control system implementation and reinforcement through process engineering.
  • Demonstrate experience with MRP systems.
