Job Opportunity

A vibrant and well-resourced 7-12 Secondary College seeks an exceptional educator to lead the improvement of teaching workforce and curriculum program.

The ideal candidate will be situated in a large, attractive setting adjacent to bushland in a township surrounded by rolling hills.

This senior role involves leading and managing whole-school improvement initiatives related to strategic plans and school priorities.

  • Developing and implementing whole-school improvement strategies for curriculum planning and delivery;
  • Providing professional development opportunities and developing individual and team development plans for teaching staff;
  • Leading staff performance and development reviews;
  • Implementing assessment and reporting policies and practices;
  • Managing student welfare and discipline policies and operations;
  • Leading curriculum development in a major learning area;
  • Contributing to overall leadership and management of the school;
  • Developing proposals for consideration by the school council;

Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the specified curriculum area.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching;
  • Qualification to teach and/or demonstrated experience in the specified curriculum area;
