We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Lead to join our Corporate Finance team in Springvale and help shape the future of our receivables function.

About the Role:

The Accounts Receivable Lead will play a critical role in ensuring financial health and operational efficiency across the region by leading a small team, overseeing the full accounts receivable cycle from invoicing to collections, driving process improvements, managing credit risk, and collaborating with key stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, and Finance.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead and develop the AR team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Oversee the end-to-end AR process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely collections.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes and improve customer payment behavior.
  • Monitor credit risk and ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to streamline AR processes and enhance performance.
  • Deliver accurate and timely AR reporting, including aging analysis, claims, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Act as a key liaison between the AR function and internal stakeholders, clearly communicating performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support internal and external audits with transparent documentation and reporting.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit management, or related financial operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing AR teams and driving performance improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and dispute resolution skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC R6, SAP BI) and financial reporting tools.
  • Change management experience and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coaching capabilities.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce (preferred).
  • Experience with ReadSoft Process Director (desirable).
