Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Site Bus Driver to join our team at Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting residents safely to various locations, ensuring punctuality and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip safety checks on buses, ensuring all necessary items are available and the vehicle is in good working order.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, residents, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and servicing vehicles, and maintaining records of incidents and accidents.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of expenditure within delegated authority.
  • Assist staff with residents during outings, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • A valid Bus Licence, CPR, and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A high level of physical fitness, with the capacity to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work across multiple sites, including North Turramurra, Thorton Park, Plumpton, Marsfield, and other locations as required. The role requires flexibility, with a varied schedule that may include early morning starts and extended hours.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary package, we provide comprehensive benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
