Job Description

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transport services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of residents to various destinations.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-trip safety checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good operating condition.
  • Drive residents safely to designated locations, adhering to set schedules and routes.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including fueling, cleaning, and reporting any mechanical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, expenses, and incidents.
  • Liaise with staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Valid bus licence.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform driving duties and occasional manual labor.
Working Conditions:

This role involves working across multiple sites, with varying schedules and hours. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

What We Offer:
