Design Engineering Assistant

The primary role of a Design Engineering Assistant is to support the design and production of mechanical equipment.

This involves collaborating with engineering teams to create detailed drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), as well as liaising with workshop staff to ensure smooth fabrication processes.

In addition to these core responsibilities, successful candidates will also be required to assist with scheduling and programming tasks, monitor current projects, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

To excel in this position, applicants should possess a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, along with experience in manufacturing or trade environments. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks is highly desirable.
