Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a skilled mechanical design engineer passionate about designing cutting-edge motors, hoists, gearboxes, and clamps? This role will see you creating bespoke designs for a leading innovator in the entertainment industry.

  • You will be responsible for designing and engineering high-performance custom mechanical hoisting solutions that include: motors, hoists, gearboxes, clamps & weighing scales for stage rigging applications
  • You will utilize CAD software (preferably Inventor) to create detailed and accurate designs
  • You will conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to optimize designs for performance
  • You will ensure all designs meet strict safety protocols and standards

We are seeking a qualified candidate with a track record of delivering precision-engineered solutions. You should have experience in weight calculations, bend force analysis, and CAD/FEA tools, as well as knowledge of safety standards and load cell systems for real-time weight monitoring.
