Job Title: Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Total TV team at Nine Entertainment. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients, while driving revenue growth for our television business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create targeted advertising schedules across all broadcast channels, including 9Now, based on briefs received from advertising agencies.
  • Grow market share and revenue across your client base.
  • Understand market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
  • Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships, and spot packages.
  • Day-to-day contact with key agency contacts.
  • Accommodate and prioritize multiple concurrent advertising campaigns.
  • Problem-solving within the context of the job.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a Sales Coordinator.
Requirements:
  • A thorough understanding of broadcast systems and measurement metrics.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience within sales, within a client marketing department, or within a media agency.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • An appreciation of market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite is desirable.
