Senior Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on designing and implementing complex infrastructure systems that meet performance and best practice requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and manage secure, scalable, reliable infrastructure systems.
  • Undertake project work to design, plan and implement solutions for customers' Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement required mitigation measures.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs with customer end users.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to systems infrastructure, conducting root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to service the infrastructure needs of customers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, preferably in a managed services environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure systems, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solution Architect Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Past experience within a Managed Services Provider.
  • Strong track record of driving technical projects from inception to completion.
