The Role
This is a distinctive opportunity for a qualified candidate to join our esteemed Sydney Corporate practice, collaborating closely with Partner Grant Hummel and the team. You will engage in a diverse array of work, including equity capital markets, public and private M&A, strategic advisory, and corporate governance. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile matters and engage with our distinguished client base.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your specific responsibilities will include:
- Handling equity capital markets transactions, such as IPOs, ASX listings, secondary raisings, and private funding rounds;
- Managing both private and public M&A transactions, including business sales, share purchase agreements, and schemes of arrangement;
- Providing advice on corporate governance and director duties;
- Assisting with business setup, structuring, shareholder agreements, and related documentation;
- Collaborating with international clients on Australian transactions.
Qualifications for Success
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- 5-10 years of post-admission experience (PAE).
- Proven expertise in ECM and M&A.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Leadership capabilities to mentor and develop junior team members.
