
Office Manager Position

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead our Brisbane office. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large team of administrative staff, including Legal Assistants, Administration Assistants, and Facilities Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team to ensure effective execution of office operations.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of administrative staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Quality and Consistency: Monitor and improve the quality and consistency of services provided to the firm.
- Work Allocation: Manage the allocation of work and utilisation of administrative support to best meet the needs of the firm.
- Performance Management: Actively manage performance and work closely with HR colleagues to lead cyclical processes such as remuneration and talent review.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Prior Experience: Lead a large team in an office or practice manager position or as legal support supervisor.
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate commercial acumen and commitment to supporting operational excellence and ongoing improvement of the function.
Time Management: Possess strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Communication Skills: Have highly professional written and verbal communication skills suitable for a high-performance legal environment.
Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant field such as front-line leadership, human resources, business, or law.
