About the Role:

The Operational Excellence Leader will work closely with the CEO and Executive Team, driving operational excellence, process improvements, and strategic initiatives. With a significant emphasis on enhancing overall organisational performance and optimising resources, this role will oversee corporate services, including finance, IT, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business planning processes, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategy, mission, and goals.
  • Oversee ICT strategy and platform architecture, leading IT transformation initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Champion a culture of quality and compliance, including risk management and adherence to service delivery standards.
  • Drive financial optimisation and risk management practices, including leading the annual audit process.
  • Support the efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance of all organisational facilities.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team culture, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

We seek an entrepreneurial individual with highly developed technical skills and commercial acumen, as well as proven experience managing complex and high-level stakeholder relationships. As a big picture thinker who can reason at a conceptual level and drive change while maintaining strong attention to detail, you will be equipped to lead teams through transformative activities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in management, accounting, or ICT.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or MBA studies are highly regarded.
  • An impressive track record and reputation as a high-achieving leader, with experience in implementing an IT strategy, optimising processes, and leading organisational transformation activities.
  • A natural leader with a high degree of integrity and professionalism, experienced in leading and developing teams with a focus on performance management.
  • The confidence and credibility to engage effectively and build relationships at Board level, with senior executives and operational stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
