Job Description:

As a skilled Auto Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our heavy mobile equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

You will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all heavy mobile equipment, including trucks, dozers, drills, and excavators. This will involve conducting preventative maintenance inspections, identifying and rectifying faults, and initiating updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade Qualified Auto Electrician (Cert III in Automotive Electrotechnology)
  • Desirable experience working with mobile equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Liebherr
  • Previous experience within mining is preferred
  • Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to commit to a 7/7 rotating roster
