We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee the delivery of outstanding guest experiences during morning service periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Supervision: Assist with setup, service, and breakdown across multiple function rooms and spaces.
  • F&B Team Leadership: Mentor the afternoon team for smooth operations and high-quality service.
  • Customer Service: Welcome guests warmly and ensure memorable interactions in our food and beverage outlets.
  • Coffee and Beverage Preparation: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our menu and communicate effectively with guests and the team.
  • POS Management: Oversee customer account settlement within the POS system for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Barista and Bartending Support: Prepare beverages and supervise barista and bartending activities as required.
  • Sales Promotion: Promote Mercure Perth and contribute ideas to enhance service delivery and drive revenue.
  • Food Safety: Maintain high standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
Requirements:
  • RSA Certification: Possess Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
  • Barista Qualification: Hold a barista qualification and be able to prepare coffee beverages.
  • Australian Work Permit: Have current working rights in Australia.
  • F&B Operations Experience: Proven experience in supervising F&B operations, particularly in conferencing and events.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Roster Flexibility: Be flexible to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
