About the Role
Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Mechanic to join our team at our Erskine Park Branch. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of our equipment, including wheel loaders, material handlers, and excavators.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnoses to identify and rectify issues
- Perform routine and major services, including maintenance and component replacements
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of new equipment as required
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports to ensure accurate documentation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide exceptional service and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations
**Requirements**
- Relevant trade qualification and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, or 3 years of experience with a relevant qualification
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- A current driver's license and willingness to operate company vehicles
- Forklift, W, T, R, and Air conditioning tickets are highly desirable
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant safety guidelines and protocols
