Job Description

We're seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Broome. As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and representing our brand with style and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, ensuring that customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Represent our brand with integrity and style, adhering to our visual merchandising standards and promoting our products effectively.
  • Cash handling and processing sales accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with stock management and processing, ensuring that merchandise is displayed in a way that maximizes sales potential.
  • Minimize stock loss by following company loss prevention policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate confidence in approaching, connecting with, and selling to customers, showcasing a strong customer focus and ability to provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Value integrity and do things the right way, maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect for colleagues and customers alike.
  • Show enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, being solutions-focused when faced with problems, and embracing new challenges.
  • Awareness of loss prevention, health & safety, visual merchandising, and experience in a team environment or fashion retail is advantageous but not essential.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary package, including 50% off staff discount on Jay Jays products, in-store coaching and comprehensive training plans, internal career opportunities across 7 brands and 1,000 retail outlets, opportunities for product incentives, and more. Estimated salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience). Please note that this is an estimated figure based on industry standards and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
