Greencap's Mine Closure Division is currently inviting expressions of interest for a position as a Civil Engineer. This role will focus on mine rehabilitation and closure planning and design, leveraging your strong programming skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create detailed drawings for landform design from initial concepts to feasibility assessments.
  2. Engage in programming tasks using relevant software (e.g., Python).
  3. Execute designs that comply with both technical and commercial standards, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  4. Develop cost estimates for proposed designs.
  5. Draft and evaluate technical documentation.
  6. Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with clients.
  7. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Candidate Profile:
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Significant experience in Civil Design Engineering, particularly in Mine Closure.
  3. Prior experience in a consulting environment.
  4. Proficient in civil design and the preparation and review of drawings from concept through to execution.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  6. Experience in drafting and assessing technical reports.
  7. Programming skills, particularly in Python, are highly desirable.
  8. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative team spirit.
