Clinical Therapist – Northern Territory PHN

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Anglicare/Headspace in Darwin. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide a youth-friendly, family-inclusive service to young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide single-session-based interventions to young people and their families, adopting a flexible approach to recovery-based mental health care.
- Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments, inclusive brief interventions, and maintain high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic intervention skills.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide targeted goal and outcome-focused interventions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and community services to ensure seamless referrals and support.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 1 year experience in clinical therapy or a related field.
- Registered with the relevant regulatory body as a practicing Clinician.
- Proven experience working with culturally diverse groups, delivering culturally sensitive interventions, and working with young people in a multi-disciplinary mental health or youth service setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to professional growth and development.
- National police check, First Aid, WWC check, and current driver's license.
- Full-time, 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
- Salary range of HPSS 3.1 $80,000 – $84,999.
- Up to $3,500 for relocation assistance.
- Eligible for scholarship and bursary grants through NT PHN.
- 5 weeks annual leave and salary packaging up to $15,900 annually.
