About the Role:
As a Business Assurance and Controls Team Lead in our Customer Engagement Assurance team, you will play a key role in providing Line 1 Risk support for the Customer Engagement Portfolio. This role is responsible for supporting and contributing to CE specific business risk assessments, risk-related change management, controls design, and general assurance advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading large complex Assurance activities associated with Customer Engagement team's risk profile, including facilitating Operational Risk Assessments, Obligations Management, Control Governance, and Risk Insights.
- Driving improvement in Risk capability/culture/awareness and promoting Operational Risk Management as a core capability.
- Managing high-performing teams within environments facing significant change and workload.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and enablers.
- Analysing risk and controls data from multiple sources to identify, assess, and measure trends and patterns.
Requirements:
- Experience working within the Operational Risk Framework, including detailed knowledge of Operational Risk Management Process.
- Experience in working with external bodies relevant to relevant regulatory obligations.
- Proven ability to identify pragmatic solutions to managing risks and deliver against risk management objectives.
- Deep technical knowledge of risk and compliance regulation and frameworks.
- Experience in managing designing and managing controls across the business.
