The Airport Manager will oversee team and fleet requirements to achieve operational goals. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who undertakes all operational duties involved with the successful running of the location.
- Effectively manage vehicle fleet levels and employee rostering to meet customer demands.
- Print, action, and monitor reports/financial plans and contribute to the annual business plan for the location.
- Continually compare location performance against the strategic plan and implement necessary measures to ensure targets are achieved.
- Monitor customer service delivery and identify strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
- Create and facilitate a team environment.
- Ensure effective performance management practices are applied at the location.
- Identify and continually monitor employee needs and implement actions to increase employee satisfaction and manage performance as needed.
- Contribute to the development of the annual business plan.
- Proactively seek solutions to problems identified.
- Monitor compliance with policies.
- Other duties may be required from time to time.
- Ensure Quality Assurance standards are achieved or exceeded.
- Previous experience leading a team in a similar role and/or environment (car rental industry experience being advantageous).
- The ability to provide coaching and feedback to employees.
- The ability to use initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency especially with MS Office.
- The ability to maximise team performance.
- Knowledge of relevant industrial relations legislation.
