**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Manager to lead and oversee our operations in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and make a real difference in the airport's success.

The Airport Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all passenger handling activity at Adelaide Airport, while maintaining our interests in the region and building strong relationships with airport operators and other major stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in customer service management, team leadership, and third-party entity management. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to influence all levels of the organization.

The role requires a strong business awareness and the ability to understand and communicate corporate initiatives and strategies across the team. Additionally, the candidate will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of company personnel policy and Employment Law, as well as Air Safety legislation and CASA regulatory requirements.

As a key member of our team, the Airport Manager will be responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective ground handling services for our operations by direct management of the Ground Service Provider (GSP) of ramp activity contracted to us.

The core responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Delivery of customer service, operational, financial, and safety goals and KPIs for our airline at the airport
  • Overall people management of staff at the airport, including managing performance, recruitment and selection, training and development
  • Managing local employee/union relationships
  • Working closely with HR, People Support, and Employment Relations partners to ensure full adherence to company policies
  • Contributing to the continual enhancement of airport performance against agreed operational, safety, OHS, and customer service goals, objectives, and KPIs

Key skills required for this role include: customer service management, team leadership, third-party entity management, communication, business awareness, and knowledge of company personnel policy and Employment Law.
