The role requires a passionate and experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of an educational program that promotes children's well-being, development, and learning.

This includes helping children develop values, attitudes, and ways of living and learning through high-quality care, activities, and educational elements.

">Job Responsibilities:">
  • Lead the design and delivery of the educational program with support from colleagues.
  • Ensure children's learning and development inform the program's design and educators' practices.
  • Liaise effectively with parents, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Recommend improvements to programs and practices.
  • Mentor and support educators in understanding the educational program and practice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Undertake administrative requirements and collaborate with families and the school community.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent and demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education.

Sound experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.

A comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.

Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A comprehensive working knowledge of child development, attachment, learning.

A demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice approaches to teaching and learning.

Working knowledge of leadership theory and the use of a range of leadership styles.

Well-developed critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyse and challenge conventional practice and ideas.

Current First Aid and CPR Certification.

Currently possess, or be willing to obtain, a Blue Card.
