About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Queensland's largest inland city, known as the Garden City. The area boasts beautiful parks, gardens, and annual events like the Carnival of Flowers.

As the successful applicant, you will be working in a large regional referral hospital offering mental health treatment and care programs via an inpatient unit and community clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering mental health services through assessment, referral, counselling, information, case management, dual diagnosis, and group programs.
  • Collaborating with general practitioners, other service providers, and non-government organisations to provide innovative solutions for individuals experiencing mental illness.
