Job Summary

Ventia is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Utility to provide exceptional hospitality and kitchen services in the Mess and Bar areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage services to our Defence clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet Defence personnel with a warm and welcoming smile
  • Process cash transactions and operate EFTPOS systems with accuracy and efficiency
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to the highest standards
  • Conduct regular checks on packaged and perishable items to ensure they are within their best-before dates
  • Ensure the premises and equipment are clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our Defence clients
  • Assist with restocking, stock rotation, and loading/unloading supplies, stores, and equipment
  • Contribute to stock takes and inventory control for all kitchen supplies
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of our HACCP program
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • Barista experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of hospitality and catering service delivery is preferred but not essential
  • Experience working within Defence is advantageous
  • Driver's license and own transport
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use online rostering systems
