YHA Australia is seeking a skilled Hospitality Experience Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for designing and implementing exceptional guest experiences that promote cultural understanding, social connections, and local immersion.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in event coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. You will be passionate about delivering unique and engaging experiences that cater to the interests and preferences of our guests.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and discounts across our national network of properties.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain a diverse activity/experience program that caters to the interests and preferences of our guests;
  • Promote upcoming activities and experiences through property signage, word-of-mouth, and digital channels;
  • Lead the majority of experiences and events hosted by the property and ensure appropriate team members or volunteers are running these in your absence;
  • Build strong professional relationships with external partners, clients, and key stakeholders;
  • Train and collaborate with property team members and/or volunteers to ensure seamless execution of events;

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in organizing and coordinating events or activities;
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities;
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in designing unique and engaging experiences;
  • Proficiency in using technology and social media platforms for promotional purposes;
