Job Title: Learning & Development Advisor

This part-time role (22-24 hours per week) will be pivotal in expanding our in-house training capability and managing industry-leading graduate, cadet, and mentoring programs. Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining internal training courses and programs;
  • Facilitating and managing national graduate, cadet, and mentoring programs;
  • Identifying training requirements through needs assessments and best practice metrics;
  • Proactively sourcing and implementing innovative training solutions;
  • Partnering with HR Advisors to provide learning and development outcomes;
  • Championing and supporting people development initiatives;
  • Reporting on success and uptake of key learning initiatives and influencing stakeholders;
  • Supporting the design, development, and delivery of interactive e-courses (desirable not essential);
  • Maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS) and reviewing L&D practices and programs as required; and
  • Participating in the development of effective people management strategies to meet business requirements.

What we're seeking includes:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver engaging content within a classroom environment;
  • Strong experience gained in a similar role in an in-house or RTO environment;
  • Experience in designing and facilitating engaging competency-based training programs and frameworks;
  • Able to design, develop, and implement e-courses using software;
  • An enthusiasm for learning and developing others;
  • Someone already holding or working towards a Certificate IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor is highly desirable;
  • Experience in identifying training needs and analysing gaps.
