Structural Engineering OpportunityJob Summary

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at Northrop Consulting Engineers.

You will be responsible for designing structures within the Built Environment, including hospitals, education facilities, sporting facilities, and commercial mixed-use developments.

  • Design of structures across PT, Steel, Timber
  • Carry out site investigations and feasibility studies
  • Carry out structural design process from concept all the way through to construction stage
  • Develop structural computational models using software such as ETABS RAPT and Spacegass
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including architects, developers, commercial builders, and local/state government bodies

This is an entry-level position that requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, mathematics, and computer-aided design (CAD).

About the Role

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work on real projects with real responsibilities, developing your skills and expertise under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible to apply, you must have completed your university degree within the last year or be in your final year of study. You must also be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand Citizen.
