What does a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Water team do?
On a day to day you might be involved in:
- Use general knowledge of civil engineering to support analysis and design of water and wastewater supply, distribution and treatment systems.
- Perform basic calculations to analyse and design water/wastewater system components using company standard software and/or proprietary manufacturer software.
- Assist team in preparing water/wastewater designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.
- Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
- Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer.
- Assist the team in providing support services during project design development that can include workshop scribing, deliverables submission and other.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.
