Senior Data Insights Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Insights Analyst to join our Customer Solutions team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving customer outcomes through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Analysis and Insights: Gather and analyze complex data sets to deliver actionable insights, using tools like SAS, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Python.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop scenario models to provide predictive and prescriptive insights for decision-making.
- Dashboard Management: Design and maintain dashboards to support workforce planning, operations, and credit risk management.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align insights with business goals, ensuring seamless operations across functions.
- Governance and Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to regulations, governance policies, and operational standards.
- Workforce Management: Govern workforce systems to optimize staffing and scheduling across digital and contact channels.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Ensure insights align with Westpac's service promise, driving value and enhancing customer outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement changes aligned with digital transformation initiatives.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare insightful reports and presentations to support senior management in key decision-making forums.
- Business Partnering: Foster relationships with business partners, helping teams align on strategic objectives.
- Bachelor or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics preferred.
- Strong working experience with unstructured data analysis and deriving insights using tools like Python, SAS, R, SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Alteryx, VBA.
- Experience with MS Office products like Excel, PPT.
- Very good understanding and working knowledge of Credit Risk in Banking, Remediations, Regulatory/business control development/enhancement, Digital contact strategy monitoring, PowerCurve collection.
