The ICT Infrastructure Project Lead will oversee the strategic direction and status of projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Working collaboratively with senior staff, the successful candidate will lead technical teams and manage cross-functional programs from project inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in accordance with organizational frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective project design, governance, and operational integration.
- Lead and manage staff, focusing on performance, attendance, and well-being, while providing coaching and succession planning opportunities.
- Research, review, and evaluate projects to identify key objectives and outputs for executive-level reporting.
- Manage financial resources, including budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and benefits.
- Represent the organization at external forums, negotiating and advancing the agency's interests.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing critical ICT infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs.
- Familiarity with AGILE methodology and project tracking tools.
- Experience working in a large organization, preferably within government departments.
