About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Professional to join our team at Epiroc Australia Pty Ltd. As an IT End User Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing timely and effective support to our end-users across Australia and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Technical Support: Offer top-notch technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or on-site visits, resolving their IT-related issues efficiently.
  • Incident Management: Ensure that all incidents and service requests are handled correctly and promptly, taking action when necessary to prevent breaches of our service level agreements.
  • End-User Support: Deliver excellent IT services in areas such as Lotus Notes, ERP systems (BPCS & SAP), PC support, LAN and WAN, video- and web-conferencing, printers, mobile devices, and tablets.
  • Network Infrastructure Support: Provide hands-on support to our specialist team with server, network, and telephony infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers and users, advising them on their IT needs and best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement by implementing standards to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience: Proven track record in a similar role, with experience in troubleshooting PCs, laptops (preferably Dell), mobile devices, and tablets, as well as service desk software like ServiceNow.
  • Certifications: ITIL and Microsoft Certificates are added advantages but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Lotus Notes, ERP systems (BPCS & SAP), PC support, LAN and WAN, video- and web-conferencing, printers, mobile devices, and tablets, as well as knowledge of Windows server, PC management software (remote SW installation, remote PC support, OS imaging, etc.), Altiris, VMware, and End-user Hardware support.
  • Education: University degree, Diploma, or equivalent competence gained through experience.

  • Salary Range: AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
