The Role Overview

Ventia is seeking experienced Civil Operators to deliver projects on Main Roads Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assets such as traffic control signals, roadway lighting, electronic speed limit signs, CCTV cameras and vehicle detection systems
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Contribute to team growth through training and learning opportunities
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality projects

Requirements:

  • WA Driver's Licence – MR or higher highly regarded
  • Excavator Operator's ticket
  • Prior experience operating mini excavators on civil/brownfields construction sites
  • A motivated self-starter willing to contribute and work as part of a team
  • Prior work on Main Roads electrical and communications assets - Highly desirable

About the Project:

This is a 50/50 joint venture between Ventia and Johnson Controls providing electrical and Intelligent Transportation System maintenance and project works and services for Main Roads WA and other private clients.
