Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Nail Salon Assistant with a passion for beauty and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Client check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments, complaints and upselling products or add-ons.
  • Support our nail artists with day-to-day coordination, ensuring the workflow is smooth and on schedule.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the front desk, salon and waiting area.
  • Answer phone calls, direct enquiries, and handle messages with a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Work closely with the team to manage walk-ins, waitlists, and client expectations.
  • Assist in social media bookings or DMs if needed (basic knowledge a plus).
Requirements
  • A minimum 12-month valid Visa or Australian Citizenship is required.
  • Strong and fluent English communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of 4 shifts, including one weekend day.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role in a salon, spa or hospitality setting is highly valued.
  • Confident use of online booking systems and technology - ability to learn quickly and efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • Team player attitude, willing to assist nail artists when needed.
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
