Job Summary

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily inventory orders for parts, supplies, and materials.
  • Track and monitor the status of all orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Verify that correct parts are provided to technicians for approved repairs and rework.
  • Record completed repairs by technicians, track, and provide a monthly statement to lab leadership if applicable.
  • Document rework and reason code on paperwork included in the monthly statement to lab leadership if applicable.
  • Investigate rework cases by discussing with lab leadership.
  • Update and maintain part logs to ensure accuracy.
  • Process purchase requests with accuracy and follow up regularly to ensure timely receipt if applicable.
  • Perform quality inspections on critical parts upon receipt.
  • Document all part inspections.
  • Support new part development.
  • Review part costs and research available options in the market.
  • Collaborate with lab leadership to monitor changes to parts and part suppliers prior to making changes or approvals.
  • Provide general customer service related to part orders, statuses, and deliveries.
