The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in aged care or health services sector and be current with AHPRA Registration (desirable). They must demonstrate financial accountability, exhibit leadership qualities, inspire, and actively support the development of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Oversee and manage leadership roles, including clinical, environmental, catering, lifestyle, and administration. This includes hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a competent and well-functioning team.
  • Resident Support: Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure that residents receive high-quality care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for the residence, allocating resources effectively to support the needs of residents and staff while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Improvement: Implement quality and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall standard of care and services provided to residents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards specific to aged care facilities.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, staff, and external stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and foster a positive and transparent environment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
