Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a Part-Time position based in Sydney.

Role Overview:

The role involves overseeing the quality assurance of third-party manufacturers, packers, and storage facilities. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured by contractors meet the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong relationships with third-party suppliers to enhance product quality and manufacturing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Work independently with high-level skills and maintain effective working relationships with all staff and third-party contractor personnel.
  • Identify and assess new contractors in conjunction with relevant departments.
  • Prepare and maintain agreements with all contractors to ensure clear responsibilities, requirements, and protection of interests.
  • Monitor contract manufactures' performance to identify potential problems.
  • Encourage a culture of quality among staff and act in accordance with quality standards and values.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and changes to the company's quality management system within the scope of the department.
  • Release products for distribution from Contractors and other sites where specified in agreements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with third-party contractors would be highly regarded.
