Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team in our North Sydney office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and experience working on various traffic engineering and transportation planning projects.

  • Conducting intersection analysis and/or traffic modeling
  • Analyzing signal timing, parking, and traffic data
  • Devising road safety improvements
  • Undertaking intersection and corridor studies
  • Documenting traffic impact assessments (TIAs)
  • Preparing proposals, technical reports, and presentations
  • Managing clients and stakeholders with support
Requirements

The successful candidate must exhibit high-quality technical abilities in the traffic engineering and transport planning discipline and ideally will have experience with development assessment. You will also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 2-6 years of experience in transportation engineering
  • Experience reviewing architectural plans with Auto CAD
  • Experience utilizing traffic engineering software such as SIDRA, VISSIM, and Auto Turn
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
