About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Adelaide team. As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering traffic engineering and transport planning reports, including traffic impact assessments to support development applications. You will also be involved in site inspections, traffic surveys, investigations, and feasibility studies, as well as concept designs for traffic projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation and delivery of traffic engineering and transport planning reports
- Site inspections, traffic surveys, investigations, and feasibility studies
- Concept designs for traffic projects
- Collating and analysing traffic and parking data
- Traffic modelling using SIDRA Intersection software
- Participate in road safety audits
- Undertake an analysis of traffic flows and assessment of mitigation measures

About You

We are looking for a driven individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in traffic engineering, preferably from a consulting or local government background. You should have a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or equivalent, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in working in a team and multi-disciplinary environment is highly desirable.
