Support Progressive Campaigns and Drive Social Change

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in supporting progressive campaigns, driven by a passion for social justice, equality, and environmental care.

  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in Australian politics and share progressive values, believing in a more equitable, sustainable, and caring Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make phone calls to supporters of progressive organisations;
  • Have meaningful conversations and connect with people on shared values;
  • Learn about and advocate for different ways of framing and solving problems;
  • Be professional, passionate, and energetic;
  • Develop own skills and respond positively to feedback.

Essential Criteria

  • Have an interest in Australian politics;
  • Share progressive values and believe in a more equitable, sustainable, and caring Australia;
  • Be a good conversationalist and active listener;
  • Be willing to learn and advocate for new perspectives;
  • Take responsibility for developing your skills and responding to feedback.

Desirable Criteria

  • Have experience in university student politics and activism;
  • Have worked or volunteered with Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), community groups, research groups, activist groups, unions, or similar.

What We Offer

  • A casual role requiring a minimum of 2 shifts per week;
  • Located in a vibrant office space near the ANU.
