About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry section, creating innovative desserts, and ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in all aspects of pastry preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement creative menu designs for pastry creations, ensuring high quality and optimal menu engineering
  • Coordinate food preparation and presentation for the pastry section, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Manage quality and food safety, adhering to local regulations and company procedures
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints, providing exceptional customer service
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience leading a pastry team in a high-volume hotel operation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong ability to engage and motivate team members
  • Superior knowledge of pastry crafts and administration/management
  • Proven ability to lead in a variety of situations, with operational and guest needs in mind
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to increase efficiency and productivity
