Community Health Advocate

The role of Health Promotion Officer is critical in driving health promotion activities and programs within a multidisciplinary team. The officer will work with Aboriginal people in remote communities to develop and implement health promotion programs that address their specific needs.
The key responsibilities of the Health Promotion Officer include:
- Developing and implementing health promotion strategies;
- Facilitating community engagement and participation in health promotion activities;
- Collaborating with other health professionals to provide comprehensive health services;
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on program outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health or health promotion;
- Experience working in remote communities and with Aboriginal people;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
