**Job Description:**

The role of a Claims Specialist involves managing the entire claims process, from initial lodgement to finalisation. This requires efficient and effective communication with various stakeholders, including policyholders, brokers, repairers, and internal departments.

  • Assess property damage claims and determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Coordinate inspections and manage relationships with assessors, builders, and other external parties.
  • Liaise with policyholders to gather information and validate details.
  • Apply insurance policies and guidelines to ensure fair and timely claim outcomes.
  • Authorise quotes, manage variations, and oversee repairs to ensure progress is made in a timely manner.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end property claims (domestic or commercial).
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, building terminology, and repair processes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when assessing information and processing claims.
