Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health support worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who require support in their daily lives, including those with complex mental health needs.

This role involves providing person-centred support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, dignity and well-being. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living tasks, personal care and community access
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement support plans that promote client independence and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress towards goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in mental health or a related field (e.g. psychology, nursing, social work)
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with individuals who have complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Pay: From $41.87 per hour
