Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

This role involves providing mental health support to an adult within their home, focusing on community access. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with minor and complex mental health needs.

They will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven, with excellent work ethics and a patient, understanding nature. A comprehensive knowledge of mental health and its associated issues is also essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to positively engage and interact with people who have complex needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in mental health or a related field (i.e., Psychology, Nursing, Community Services, Youth Work or Social Work)
  • Academic or professional qualifications in mental health or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health and its associated issues
