Job Description

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to provide high-quality support services for individuals with mental health needs.

This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who enjoys a challenge and has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with minor and complex mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health or a similar field and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include providing emotional support, assistance with daily living tasks, and facilitating community access for our clients.

Shifts available: Monday to Friday, times to be determined. Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.

Pay rate: Minimum starting rate is $38.17 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends, and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience and/or academic or professional experience in mental health or a similar field (i.e., psychology, nursing, community services, youth work, or social work)
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven individual with good work ethics
  • Reliable, kind, and caring nature with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs
