As a seasoned Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering high-level HR advice and services across a wide range of complex employee and industrial relations matters. You will play a critical role in supporting key organisational change and workforce initiatives within the department.

Key responsibilities include developing strong partnerships with business areas to understand operational needs and deliver tailored HR solutions. This involves providing expert advice on employee relations, case management, performance issues, workforce planning, and change management.

You will also be responsible for interpreting and applying public sector legislation, directives, industrial instruments, and policies. Additionally, you will manage and contribute to strategic people projects and the development/review of HR policies and procedures.

Representing the department in external industrial forums and preparing expert documentation for commissions and tribunals are also key aspects of this role.
